The Woman in the Yard
Watched Woman in the Yard. Wow. This isn’t any typical horror film—it’s not even really horror. But it has a lot to say. And by the end, it’s almost too much to take in. What struck me most is how the film leaves you with more questions than answers. It doesn’t handhold you with straightforward explanations or a clear narrative. Instead, it leans into metaphors and what if scenarios—leaving things open to interpretation I was intrigued and compelled throughout. Yes, the pacing is slow, but it’s deliberate. Performances, sound design, the mood, everything’s good. This isn’t a bad film at all. But I’m not sure I’d confidently recommend it either. It left me in that strange, unsettled place.
