The Odyssey
The Odyssey is a colossal achievement—an epic where scale, craftsmanship, storytelling, performances, and technical brilliance come together to create an unforgettable cinematic experience. That said, I wouldn’t call it flawless. There are moments where I felt it could have been stronger, and a few creative choices didn’t entirely work for me. Yet those shortcomings never overshadow what the film accomplishes. It completely engrossed me from beginning to end, constantly shifting between emotional drama, psychological tension, mythological intrigue, and moments of spectacle. The action is comparatively restrained, but when it arrives, it serves the story rather than existing purely for excitement. From the opening sequence featuring Travis Scott to the closing moments, where his haunting narrative echoes over the finale, Ludwig Göransson delivers one of his finest scores. His music captures the raw, ancient spirit of the Bronze Age while giving the film an almost mythical atmosphere. Ch
