The Lost Bus
The Lost Bus is a gripping two-hour drama inspired by the true events. While films of this kind often involve dramatization and cinematic liberties, Paul Greengrass and his team do a commendable job of sticking to the core plot of saving 22 children trapped in a school bus, while intensifying the surrounding story to deliver a satisfying thriller. Matthew McConaughey pulls off Kevin McKay with ease, carrying the film with a brilliant performance. While Apple is known for delivering top-notch quality, I couldn’t find the same here. It seems intentional by choice, but the overall output could’ve been sharper is what i felt.
