The Crow
The Crow 🐦⬛ is an unconvincing reboot that excels technically with the visuals, sound mix but falls short in substance. While the action is packed with gore, it only manages to be 'okay' at the best. While I wasn't huge fan of The Crow (1994) due to its straight forward and slow narrative, I found the lead pair's love story convincing enough to connect with the audience. Unfortunately, this reboot fails entirely in that aspect, lacking emotional depth that made the original's core relationship memorable. There is no denying Bill Skarsgård's talent. He delivers a fantastic performance. FKA Twigs, on the other hand, is just okay. If you're in it for the visuals, The Crow reboot delivers. However, if you're a fan of the original or have a good attachment to it, you will be disappointed by the plot changes. For rest of the audience, it's probably a pass unless you're particularly curios.
