Telusu Kada
“Telusu Kada” is a romantic melodrama powered by Star Boy Siddhu’s truly “Star” performance that carries the film throughout. The opening few minutes give off a pleasant, feel-good vibe, but once the actual plot kicks in, it turns into a mixed bag. Some portions click, while most feel stretched and could’ve been written much better. Raashii Khanna is impressive and adds depth to the narrative, while Srinidhi Shetty’s character felt underwhelming and left me a bit disappointed. Harsha’s screen presence is another plus. Thaman’s songs were instant chartbusters even before release and were well picturized on screen. The background score tied well with the songs, but the elevation themes didn’t feel convincing — mainly because those elevation scenes themselves felt unnecessary and out of place.
