#Stolen is a slow-burning yet gripping drama inspired by true events. The film wastes no time on unnecessary setup — the plot kicks off right from the first scene. There are no flashbacks; instead, backstories are subtly revealed through conversations, which I really liked. The entire cast delivers strong performances, but it’s ultimately Abhishek Benerjee who steals the show. His character arc — evolving from a self-centered man (telling his brother to “move on” after a loss) to someone deeply selfless (choosing to stay by his brother’s side by/in the end) — is both believable and well-written. The film feels realistic — not just because it’s based on true events, but also in how relatable the situations are to real-world scenarios. You can’t help but place yourself in Shubham’s shoes during initial investigation.
