Sitaare Zameen Par
“Sitaare Zameen Par,” an adaptation of the film Champions, is a passable, light-hearted sports comedy-drama. Aamir Khan brings a fun energy in his funky role, which is refreshing, and it’s nice to see Genelia back on screen—she hasn’t aged a day. The entire cast delivers well, but despite the charm, the film suffers from a stretched narrative post-intermission (as it doesn’t offer anything new or bring freshness), and its emotional beats don’t land as effectively as intended.
