Predator: Badlands
Predator: Badlands is a decent action-adventure entry in the Predator franchise. It does take a slightly different and refreshing approach compared to the earlier films. In most Predator movies, the Predator is shown as the main villain — a deadly hunter stalking humans. But in this film, the story shifts its perspective. Instead of treating the Predator purely as an antagonist, the movie places it in a more central, almost protagonist-like role. That change itself feels interesting and gives the film a fresh energy. Pairing the Predator with Ella Fanning, who plays a synthetic bot character, their dynamic feels different from the usual human-vs-alien setup we’ve seen before. Watching this unusual partnership unfold makes the film feel like it’s trying to explore new territory rather than repeating the same formula. Cool visuals and creatures. Would like to see them return for the sequel or any spinoff with a good plot.
