Param Sundari
Param Sundari is all about finding a soulmate through the help of an app, and all the romance throughout the film lacks soul. Yup, I said it. Although the on-screen chemistry between Sidharth Malhotra & Janhvi Kapoor is there, it doesn’t raise any sparks. In fact, I fell sleepy in between. The two-hour movie felt like I was watching it for an entire day, and it just doesn’t give up on completing already. Being a routine rom-com, it doesn’t offer anything fresh in story or making, just some moments here and there, hence the chemistry couldn’t uplift the same. I’m not a Malayali, but I felt the authenticity that Malayalam places or people usually carry was missing here. Score is good, so is cinematography. Had it had a good story, at least some engaging drama, it could’ve been a good one. It’s up to you to watch or not, but honestly, you won’t be missing anything if you skip it.
