Major is inspired by the life of Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan, an Indian Army officer at NSG who was martyred in action on 26/11 attacks. Sesh, who is commonly known for portraying grey roles in Telugu cinema’s, has written & starred in this film. Sesh as Major Sandeep bought the martyr back to the life on big screen. From childhood to till death, life of Sandeep was shown very much beautifully. Although this is a real story, action, drama and some parts of story are modified to be cinematic. First half takes it’s own time to establish the characters and will pick up at pre-interval and there’s no stopping. Prakash Raj, Revathi as Sandeep’s Parents are impactful.
