Kishkindhapuri
Kishkindhapuri is a decent horror thriller where the narrative itself plays both hero and villain as it drives the film forward but also drags it down with its own plot/screenplay by writer, director Koushik. After a 15–20 minute slow start, the first half picks up well, diving into the main plot with nicely executed horror sequences and a smooth flow that builds toward a good intermission, setting up the later half. The second half, however, turns uneven, while a couple of twists and jump scares work, much of it feels below average and uninteresting by the time it ends. Performances from Sai Sreenivas, Anupama and rest of cast… are decent, but with the film being horror-centric, there isn’t much scope to highlight (A character stood out for me, villain/ghost, I don’t know if that person has been showcased in teaser/interviews etc.. but I wouldn’t spoil it) (Update: 15/09 - Since the makers have already revealed the secret character, Sandy Master has been excelling in his assigned role
