Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh
Kesari: Chapter 2 is a nearly gripping courtroom drama inspired by true events—undeniably dramatized for cinematic effect, but it works more often than not. Akshay Kumar delivers a killer performance, effortlessly overshadowing Madhavan and the rest of the cast, thanks to a commanding character arc and presence. Despite its tight ~2-hour runtime, the film does hit a few narrative lows that slightly dull the impact. With a more consistently engaging screenplay, it could’ve been even more compelling.
