#Hridayapoorvam - is a slow-paced family drama with a clean presentation and some funny moments, but it feels like a short episode unnecessarily stretched to ten times its runtime. The film’s main drawback is its predictable, routine nature, the narrative flows without surprises or moments to look forward to. Mohanlal delivers a classy act as a naughty unmarried bachelor, especially shining in the humor portions. Malavika Mohanan is impressive, with Sangeeth and Sangitha lending solid support. The occasional humor and performances keep the film afloat, but had the writing been more dramatic instead of flat, this could’ve been something else.
