Honey Don’t is a neo-noir drama that dazzles with its visual quality but struggles to offer an engaging story. Margaret Qualley is magnetic as Honey O’Donahue, stealing the show with her presence, while Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans bring charm in brief but impactful guest roles. The plot itself is quite simple—aiming to be fun, dramatic, and twisty—but the execution leaves you questioning whether you’re watching it for the narrative, the performances, or simply because you’ve already started and feel the need to see it through. For me, it felt flat and uninteresting, but thankfully, at under 90 minutes, it didn’t overstay its welcome.
