Eleven was one of those films that had the potential to be a good revenge suspense thriller, but it suffers from poor execution—and then doubles down on it. The romantic subplot, along with the performance of the lead actress, is the weakest aspect of the film. Sometimes, it’s better to stick to what one does best — she may have been better off staying behind the scenes as a producer rather than taking on the lead role herself. Most of the performances are painfully generic, and on a technical level, the film is subpar. In fact, some Telugu and Tamil daily soaps manage to look more polished than this. The music doesn’t help either — both the songs and the background score feel uninspired. The fight sequences in the first half seem thrown in just for the sake of it, lacking impact and realism, leaning heavily into over-the-top territory I honestly don’t understand the praise surrounding this film.
