Dragon is an enjoyable romantic comedy entertainer that blends reality with commercial appeal & cinematic liberties while delivering a honest message. Pradeep Ranganathan delivers yet another powerhouse performance, following the success of his debut hit, Love Today. Anupama Parameshwaran and Kayadu Lohar enhance the film’s charm with their screen presence. Director Ashwanth, after Oh My Kadavule, deserves appreciation for his storytelling finesse. While a song and a few middle portions could have been trimmed or written better, the film keeps you smiling throughout, and the emotional moments in the last 10-15 minutes leave a strong impact. This film is best enjoyed with friends and without any expectations of plot twists or a mind-blowing screenplay. It’s a predictable yet relatable life drama—one that we’ve either experienced ourselves or seen unfold in the lives of our neighbors.
