Dhurandhar The Revenge
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a decent sequel that begins with a strong and engaging flashback, and ends with a satisfying climax. The pre-climax includes an unexpected twist that adds a nice surprise. However, the middle portion of the film is intentionally slow. While it keeps you interested and doesn’t feel boring, it also doesn’t deliver many “wow” moments throughout most of the runtime. This film is largely carried by Ranveer Singh, making it feel like a one-man show, with the rest of the cast like Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanju etc.., playing solid supporting roles. Sara Arjun has limited screen presence, as the story is more focused on concluding the narrative that was started earlier rather than exploring her character. The music by Sachadev is engaging and works well with the film. The cinematography and visuals are noticeably better this time compared to the previous film—though that could also be influenced by watching it in 4K Laser projection.
