Devara: Part 1
#Devara struggles to rise above a subpar action-revenge narrative, hampered by an outdated plot and unimpressive action sequences that heavily bank on a one-man show and even #JrNTR's commendable performance can't fully salvage it. The true highlight is #anirudhravichander’s score, injecting a much-needed energy into an otherwise substandard film. Although #Devara trends with familiar path with its routine plot, there was a potential for an engaging presentation. The movie attempts to elevate itself, yet fails to maintain the momentum. The excitement sparked by NTR's powerful title card quickly fizzles out by the intermission and gets dragged down further by an indecisive climax that struggles to find its footing and hints at sequel rather than delivering satisfying conclusion. #SaifAliKhan fits the villain role well. #JanhviKapoor, who appears in second half of the film for about 20-30 mins is just ok.
