CTRL starts with an intriguing premise, but is ultimately let down by weak writing, leaving with the sense that it could have been a much stronger film, especially given its promising plot. I love when #ananyapanday takes on roles like those in #Gehraiyaan and the recent hit #KhoGayeHumKahan—they suit her perfectly. This film has the same vibe, and she fits right in, delivering another spot-on performance as social media influencer. This film deserves appreciation for the work of its editors, as well as those who developed the concepts that translate ideas into vibrant, visually attractive scenes on screen. If you’re okay with love failure drama that incorporate social media and revolve around AI as a core concept, you might find this a decent or okay ish watch.
