Coyote vs. Acme
Well… well… well. After Warner Bros. shelved the already-finished Coyote vs. Acme back in 2023 as part of a tax write-off plan, the film eventually found its way back from the dead. And after everything surrounding its fate, what we finally have is a decent mix of live action and animation that works well enough as a simple entertainer. Coming from the world of Looney Tunes, which I grew up watching on Cartoon Network, there was naturally something refreshing about returning to these characters after such a long time. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird and several other familiar faces appear along the way, making the film feel like a small reunion with a part of childhood. More importantly, the basic idea itself is pretty good. After years of ACME products repeatedly failing him, Wile E. Coyote finally decides to sue the company responsible for them.
