#Chhaava is a gritty tale of Shambhu Raje (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj), depicting his reign over the Maratha kingdom and his relentless fight against the Mughal Emperor until his last breath. Viewing it from a cinematic perspective, it's a powerful period drama by the director @Laxman10072 that keeps us engaged despite a few stumbles. @vickykaushal09 is amazing in this role, effortlessly carrying the character with his charm and intensity. @iamRashmika adds value as strong supporting lead, making most of her screen time. The last 40 minutes are something else, emotional yet carrying the energy of a battle cry. However, background score could've been better overall, and the over-the-top action sequences didn't quite work for me. Rather than glorifying Shambhaji Maharaj, they often felt like #VickyKaushal roaring after every kill, which could have been handled with more nuance.
