Chand Mera Dil begins with a familiar promise — a breezy college romance set against the backdrop of Hyderabad — but slowly turns into a relationship drama that struggles to find emotional balance. Dharma Productions packages it like a heartfelt modern love story, yet the film rarely rises above the feeling of something we’ve already watched countless times before. Hyderabad is captured or used in a way that ironically, the city feels more visually alive here than it has in some of recent Telugu films.
