Captain America: Brave New World
#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld is yet another weak outing from Marvel, feeling more like a Disney+ tier mediocre action flick rather than a true big-screen experience. Simply put, it’s a recall and sequel to The Incredible Hulk (2008), doubling as a reboot for #CaptainAmerica within an old-school political action drama. Anthony Mackey, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, and Shira Haas put in their best efforts, but it’s really the making and screenplay that hold the biggest share in determining whether there’s anything to cheer for in the film. There’s one post-credit scene teasing that something big is coming—just like every other post-credit scene these days—potentially setting up Avengers: Doomsday. But with such a dumb villain, it doesn’t even sound exciting. Honestly, you can easily wait to watch this on digital or Disney+ when it arrives.
