BlackAdam Review: Hierarchy of Power in DC Universe might be about to change, but not with this one 😐. Dwayne Johnson aka TheRock really tried hard to make this happen, which he did, but not how it was meant to be. It’s all loud action, less thrilling - more yearning. Visual effects are so cool at places but falls short at most of the film. Score isn’t thumping enough to elevate the anti-hero sequences. And Henry Cavil as Superman didn’t bring any hype… maybe cause Dwayne hinted abt this at all the interviews/press meets. Hope they make crazy film up next.
