#BabyJohn is nearly a scene-to-scene remake of Vijay's #Theri, with a few tweaks to the plot. It largely feels like a South Commercial Entertainer packaged under the Bollywood banner.I love watching Varun Dhawan act - whether it's over-the-top or genuinely impressive, the guy's fantastic. Also, loved Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi's screen presence.The real MVP of this movie is Thaman's electrifying score, which injects incredible energy into the scenes. All the songs (except Bandobasth) are simply amazing, I've been listening to them on repeat every day ! You might like this on a lighter note if you haven't seen Atlee's #Theri or if you're fan of #VarunDhawan, #KeerthySuresh/#WamiqaGabbi. Otherwise, it's skippable as you won't miss apart from the lead pair change and a better score than the original.
