Anora is sexy, hilariously silly, wildly crazy, and, above all, delightfully dumb. Mikey Madison, portraying Anora (or Ani), a stripper/escort, has delivered a great performance. Directed by Sean Baker, I was eager to watch this film after the intriguing teaser trailers. However, while I can see why others are raving about it, I didn’t find it mind-blowing.It’s a decent, passable watch with flawed characters creating chaos in a “do-whatever-you-want” style of storytelling.
