Alpha. What can I even say? Alpha is easily the #1 movie of all time… if we’re ranking cinematic disasters. I walked in for “Massacre”, but it was Yash Raj Films that massacred me with a parody disguised as an action drama. The film opens on a reasonably engaging note. While the exaggerated dialogue and stylized action are immediately noticeable, the initial setup at least creates the impression that the story has somewhere worthwhile to go. Unfortunately, that confidence fades the moment the narrative shifts to the present timeline. From there, the screenplay spirals into an endless barrage of overblown action, forced heroism, and scenes designed solely to glorify its leads rather than serve the story. Every major set piece prioritizes spectacle over logic, leaving very little emotional or narrative weight behind. The soundtrack itself is pleasant, but the songs feel completely disconnected from the film’s momentum. Rather than enhancing the experience, they interrupt the pacing and e
